Welcome to Tidewater Marine & Industrial Coatings, LLC (TMIC), a professional Paint & Preservation company that specializes in providing high quality surface preparation and protective coatings services for Naval Ships and Industrial projects. As a young company established in August 2022, TMIC has quickly made a name for itself as a reliable and trustworthy subcontractor. Our commitment to delivering exceptional services has earned us business from ECR, Warwick Maritime Solutions, Coastal Mechanical Systems and Fairlead. We are looking forward to future work within other Shipyards as well.

How We Work
At TMIC, we take pride in our dedicated team of experts who collectively have over 6 decades of Marine & Industrial experience in the Tidewater area. Our current workforce consists of 12 key employees, and we expect to grow to 20 employees by 2024. We prioritize safety and have partnered with AEU as our workman’s comp and safety company.
We now have a Safety On-Site Person and are very involved in training and achieving a safety-first culture resulting in zero accidents. Our membership in VSRA further enhances our industry knowledge and hiring practices, ensuring that we have quality and highly trained employees.
Additionally, our insurance amounts exceed requirements and will allow us to work at any shipyard. COI’s are provided upon request.

Our office laydown area is located at 1201 Terminal Avenue, Newport News, VA 23607. TMIC is BAE compliant with DBIDS and OSHA certifications in place. We can perform services at your facility, down river, or ours.
